What Is a Folding Laboratory?

A folding laboratory — also called a fold laboratory or folded laboratory — is a portable, space-saving modular cleanroom built around a rigid frame and hinged, fold-out panels. Instead of shipping a fixed-volume box, the unit travels in its folded state to stay within transport and hoisting limits, then unfolds on the prepared site to release the full working space. It integrates the essentials of a working modular laboratory — ventilation, lighting, power and bench space — in a compact, redeployable form.

Each Wonclean folding lab is assembled, debugged and acceptance-tested in our factory before the space is folded for delivery. The unit combines a fixed functional core with hinged folding modules. Once positioned, the folding sections are unfolded and secured, then fitted with modular accessories — so a single shipped unit opens up into a large, usable controlled environment.

Is it suitable for disaster relief and temporary medical use?

Yes. Because it ships compact and unfolds rapidly, the folding laboratory works well as a temporary medical room during earthquake relief and similar emergencies, or as temporary housing where speed matters.

What does “factory pre-acceptance” mean?

Every unit is fully assembled, debugged and acceptance-tested in our factory before it is folded for delivery. This means the laboratory is ready for operation soon after it is unfolded on site, reducing on-site risk and time.
