A rockwool cleanroom panel is a metal sandwich panel formed by bonding two color-coated steel sheets to a high-density mineral rock wool core. The steel skins give a hard, wipe-clean, anti-static surface with strong corrosion resistance, while the rock wool core delivers A-grade non-combustible fire protection plus thermal and acoustic insulation. It is the standard, cost-effective board for cleanroom walls and ceilings that need reliable fire performance without sacrificing strength.
The facing uses top-brand pre-painted steel with a controlled coating thickness, so the panel resists dust accumulation, dust generation and surface corrosion — meeting the hygiene demands of a controlled environment. The rock wool core is A-grade non-combustible, with fire resistance up to 1–2 hours depending on thickness. We provide third-party fire test reports and certificates to EN 13501-1, ASTM E84 and BS 476, plus ISO 9001 and CE, on request.
Rock wool boards carry internal reinforcement to resist sagging and are made to ≤ 2 mm/2 m flatness. For export they are stacked flat, film-wrapped with corner protectors and crated in plywood boxes for long-haul sea freight, with clear unloading and handling guidance.
A single project is produced from the same steel coil batch. For large multi-batch orders we coordinate with the mill to match color, and any unavoidable variation can be zoned by room or area so it is not noticeable. RAL and custom colors are available.
